REFLEXOLOGY FOR

Reflexology and Fertility in Bristol

Reflexology does not improve fertility, treat infertility, or affect the outcome of IVF. There is no reliable evidence that it does. What it offers is an unhurried hour during a process that is rarely either.

Starting with what it is not

This page leads with the disclaimer because fertility is where this industry behaves worst. You will find practitioners offering reflexology as something that boosts fertility, improves implantation rates or supports conception. Those are claims nobody can substantiate, and when you are trying to conceive they are a particularly cruel thing to sell.

I am not going to tell you reflexology will help you get pregnant. If that is what you are looking for, I would rather you spent the money elsewhere.

Why clients book it anyway

Because a fertility journey is relentlessly clinical. Appointments, timings, tests, numbers, dates that matter enormously and arrive whether you are ready or not. Almost everything about it is measured.

An hour where nobody is measuring anything and nobody asks how it is going turns out to be worth something. That is what clients tell me, in almost those words, and it is the only reason I would suggest booking.

What a session involves

The reproductive reflexes sit around the heel and the ankle, and the endocrine points — pituitary at the big toe, thyroid at its base, adrenals in the mid-arch — are worked in sequence. Time also goes to the solar plexus, because stress is nearly always part of the picture.

This is the same session described on the hormonal changes page. There is no separate fertility protocol, and be sceptical of anyone charging extra for one.

If you are having IVF or other treatment

Tell me, and tell your clinic. There are stages in a cycle where I will adapt the session and points I will leave alone, and I would rather work with your team than around them.

I will not time sessions to your cycle stages as though that influences anything, because I cannot support the claim that it does.

Alongside your medical care

Reflexology is a complementary therapy. It does not diagnose, treat or cure anything, has no bearing on fertility outcomes, and is not part of your treatment. It sits entirely outside it.

If you are pregnant or become pregnant, reflexology during pregnancy covers the timing and what changes.

CLINICAL DETAIL

Fertility support involves the reproductive organ reflex points (around the heel), endocrine system (thyroid, adrenals, pituitary), and general stress reduction through the solar plexus and nervous system points.

Common Questions

No. There is no reliable evidence that reflexology improves fertility or affects conception, and I will not claim otherwise. Any practitioner who does is making a claim they cannot support.
Many clients do. Tell me where you are in the cycle and tell your clinic. There are stages where I adapt the session and points I avoid. I make no claim about affecting the outcome of your treatment.
Book when it suits you. I will not time sessions to cycle stages as though it changes anything, because that would imply an effect I cannot support.
There is not one. It is the same 75-minute Hormone & Fertility session working the endocrine and reproductive reflexes. Be wary of anywhere selling a separate, more expensive fertility protocol.

Book a Session

Reflexology is a complementary therapy. It does not diagnose, treat or cure medical conditions, and it sits alongside your medical care rather than replacing it.
